After sitting on the fence all day about iTunes Match, I finally (in an impulse moment) clicked the “Subscribe for $24.99” button. Then my iTunes promptly hung. Which is something I’ve become fairly use to. Steve Jobs once said that iTunes on Windows is “like giving a glass of ice water to someone in Hell”. I suspect that he made that correlation because the ice water is 75% frozen, much like iTunes. Anyway, 5 minutes later iTunes comes back with this message: “Your library contains too many songs”. And that was it. No other options. I can’t ignore songs, I can’t choose songs to sync. It’s over. I suppose I could clean out my library and try again. But Spotify seems so much easier at this point. Sorry Apple, iCloud disappoints me once again.
